What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy is a self-care approach to wellness, guided and supported by a yoga therapist. Yoga therapy can employ techniques such as physical yoga postures, mindful movement, breathing and relaxation practices, meditation, and guided imagery. Yoga therapy is intended to support your self-empowerment and is a process of active collaboration between you and your therapist.
 
The scope of yoga therapy is broad and, depending on your personal priorities, can be adapted to support your physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing.
